Goal:
I am organized and communicate for a purpose.
Today, I created a rubric for the students to understand our project better. I used the rubrics from our district for transferable skills, and I used the rubric from the project based learning website to help students understand this goal.
Yesterday, I had students write me emails to tell me what they needed for their project. The emails worked well, because I could print these lists and make a shopping list for myself. I looked at the JoAnns website and found out they were open until 9:00pm (who knew!!) I went to JoAnns and bought the materials. I made sure I kept the receipt in the bag so that when I got to school, I could take it out and give it to Mrs. Barillero. She needs this receipt so she can reimburse me.
My goal is to help students know where they are on the rubric, and help them with their goals. I am thinking of how to communicate this with them as they go. I will have them share their blogs if they haven't already!!
